Chris Kilpatrick joined Carter Capner Law in August 2005 as a finance and systems consultant. With 17 years experience working for major law firms in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra, she brings a fresh approach on how to run a law firm more efficiently.

Chris started her legal accounting career as a data entry operator and over the years, progressed to the level of business manager after completing an accounting degree. Because she has worked in hands-on roles over the years, she understands management issues from junior level right up to senior management and can be empathetic and helpful to all parties.

Chris' legal experience is unique in that she decided to swap legal management for legal IT support for a number of years. Working for a leading software support company during the introduction of GST, Chris' systems and accounting knowledge was appreciated by many legal managers who needed to upgrade their finance packages to cope with the tax changes.
