Dress-Down for Charity - A Staff Community Initiative

Every second week the staff at Carter Capner dress down for a charity of their choice with the money raised donated to a staff nominated charity every three months. This day allows staff not only the opportunity to dress in casual clothing but also gives each and every staff member the opportunity to put something back into the community.

Practical Assistance to the Needy

With the cold weather knocking on our door the staff at Carter Capner thought it was time to clean out their wardrobes and give to those less fortunate. Throughout June staff donated their pre-loved clothing to the 139 Club, a drop-in centre for homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families. The Club is located in Fortitude Valley and is open to anyone who is down on their luck and needs assistance.

All suits and professional work gear were given to the Salvation Army's Employment Plus program. This program is designed for the unemployed to boost their skills and find steady work.

Both organisations were extremely grateful for the donations that have already been put to good use.
